Sail GP Race

  1. All bets will be settled on the results declared by the Race Committee immediately following a race. Subsequent disqualifications and/or amended results do not count for betting purposes.

  2. Any boat that crosses the start line within three minutes of the starting signal is deemed to have started the race and provided they have not been withdrawn from the betting market (as set out in the next rule below) then your bet will stand.

  3. Where it is highly unlikely that a boat is going to cross the start line, fails to cross the start line within three minutes of the starting signal, or has been announced by the Race Committee as unable to compete then the boat will be withdrawn from the market and will not be deemed a starter. Any bets placed on that boat will be voided across all markets.

  4. If a boat is disqualified (black flagged) any time after the preparatory signal given by the Race Committee two minutes before the start of the race, it will be deemed a starter for betting purposes. If a boat is disqualified at any time before this, it will be deemed a non-starter for betting purposes.

  5. If the Race Committee varies the length of a race, all bets placed on the race will stand.

  6. If the Regatta Director varies the number of athletes on a boat in a race, all bets placed on the race will stand.

  7. If the Race Committee varies the length of a race, the number of athletes in a race or the number of races, all bets placed on the outright winner of the Championship and qualification for the grand final race will stand.

  8. Each bet is on the boat, not on the crew. If there are any changes to the crew after a bet is placed then the bet will stand.
