After logging in and setting up your account, you are ready to start betting. This guide will show you how Bettor Mode works so you can get the best odds available!
Step 1 - Go to the SX Bet Exchange

By default, SX Bet will open to the Popular Markets page, our top five markets sorted by total betting volume.
Step 2 - Select a Market
On the left side of the screen is the Markets panel (outlined in red below). The Markets panel lets you browse all available sports betting markets.

Step 3 - Select a Game
In Step 2, we selected the Wimbledon market.
On the right side of the screen is the Summary page (outlined in red below). The Summary page shows you all available games for a specific market, including the best odds currently available for Spread, Money Line, and Over/Under bets.

Step 4 - Select a Bet Type
In Step 3, we selected the Detroit Pistons vs Washington Wizards game. This opens the Exchange page for the Pistons/Wizards game.
The Exchange page shows the order books for the Spread, Money Line, and Over/Under bets.
Decide which bet you would like to place: Spread, Money Line, or Over/Under
Additionally, if you are looking to bet a specific portion of the game (individual quarter, period, or half - depending on the league you can find the option in the drop down bar where it says "Game Lines".
NBA & NFL
Game Lines: Refers to the entire game
1st Quarter: Bets are settled based on the 1st quarter of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
2nd Quarter: Bets are settled based on the 2nd quarter of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
3rd Quarter: Bets are settled based on the 3rd quarter of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
1st Half Lines: Bets are settled based on the 1st Half of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
NHL
Game Lines: Refers to the entire game
1st Period: Bets are settled based on the 1st quarter of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
2nd Period: Bets are settled based on the 2nd quarter of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
MLB
Game Lines: Refers to the entire game
1st 5 Innings: Bets are settled based on the 1st quarter of the game (not affected by any other period of the game)
Step 5 - Enter Your Bet
In Step 4, we decided to place a SPREAD bet on the Detroit Pistons +6.5.
Note: The best odds available are shown at the top of the order book. Size ($) is the maximum amount you can bet on those odds.
In the Bet Amount box, enter the amount you would like to bet. SX Bet automatically fills the Avg. Odds and To Return fields below.

A popup will show you a summary of your bet. Click Confirm.
Metamask/Fortmatic will ask you to authorize your bet. Click Sign/Confirm.
Note: SX Bet automatically gives you the best odds available from the top of the order book.

Using Bettor Mode, you successfully placed your first bet on SX Bet.
Once you have placed a bet, you can review the bet details by checking the Account tab at the top of the page.
Once the game that you bet on has finished, the bet will move to the Settled Bets section. Your winnings will be paid directly to your Metamask/Fortmatic wallet within 10-15 minutes after the game is over.
